When an insolvency practitioner is appointed liquidator of an insolvent Company, administrator or an administrative receiver, they have a duty to investigate the affairs of the Company and the conduct of its directors. If a creditor has information which could assist with his investigation, they should provide the insolvency practitioner with that information, together with any supporting documentation. In the case of a Compulsory Liquidation, the Official Receiver undertakes the investigation.
